Willows LLP Congratulates Louis A. Browne, K.C., on Judicial Appointment

Willows LLP is pleased to congratulate Louis A. Browne, K.C., on his appointment as an Associate Judge of the Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan.

With his appointment to the Court, Louis has concluded his practice with Willows LLP. Louis has been a valued member of our firm and a respected member of the Saskatchewan legal community for many years. During his time in private practice, he developed a broad litigation practice, appearing in the Provincial Court, the Court of King’s Bench and the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.

Louis was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2003 and was appointed King’s Counsel in 2024. In addition to his legal career, he has a long history of public and community service, including service as a reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces and two terms as a member of Regina City Council.

An appointment to the judiciary is a significant professional achievement and an important opportunity for continued public service. While we are sorry to see Louis leave the firm, we are proud to see him take on this new role.
