Joel is a partner at Willows LLP and a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with a practice focused on estate planning, estate administration, corporate law, commercial transactions, and real estate.

Joel was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Regina in 2014 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2018. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2019 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2023.

Joel obtained his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Canada in 2025. His estate planning practice includes advising individuals, families, and business owners on wills, trusts, succession planning, and the preservation and transfer of wealth.

In addition to his estate planning practice, Joel advises clients on corporate and commercial matters and real estate transactions. He takes a practical, forward-looking approach to his practice, helping clients identify potential issues and develop effective strategies to achieve their personal and business objectives while minimizing unnecessary costs and tax.
